Dear KMS Families,

It is with deep gratitude that I share the news that I will continue serving Kittredge Magnet School as your Principal. I am profoundly thankful to Interim Superintendent of Schools Dr. Norman C. Sauce III and the DeKalb County School District for their confidence in me and for the opportunity to lead this extraordinary community.

Since joining Kittredge as Assistant Principal in 2021, I have come to deeply appreciate this school’s warmth, its spirit, and its unwavering commitment to excellence. Every day, I see teachers supporting students with intention and care, families investing their time and energy into our mission, and students showing curiosity, joy, and determination. This shared dedication is what makes Kittredge so special.

Kittredge has long been a model of academic achievement and collaboration, built on the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the leadership that came before me. I am honored to continue this work and to build on the strong foundation that has shaped our collective success.

As we move forward, my focus will remain on empowering our teachers, nurturing a positive and inclusive school culture, and ensuring that every student continues to thrive both academically and personally. I am committed to fostering an environment where our communication is clear, our systems are steady, and every member of our community feels supported and connected. Together, we will build on our traditions, move forward with intention, and remain anchored in the values that define Kittredge.
